About us

An Aboriginal-led answer to a sector that doesn't always listen.

Yindyamarra Disability Services was founded in August 2024 to deliver something the NDIS landscape in our region was missing: an Aboriginal-owned, culturally secure provider with deep specialist coordination experience for high-risk and forensic communities.

Our story

Yindyamarra Disability was founded with a vision to improve outcomes for Aboriginal people with disability and their families.

As an Aboriginal-owned organisation, we understand the importance of culturally safe services that respect identity, community and lived experience.

We are committed to supporting people to exercise choice and control while accessing the services they need to live healthy, connected and fulfilling lives.

We specialise in complex, forensic and high medical support coordination. Where services have broken down, where systems have failed, where multi-agency care is needed that's where Yindyamarra steps in.

In our first NDIS audit we were awarded the highest score in best practice. We're proud of that, but more proud of the people whose lives shaped it.
