Cultural approach

Yindyamarra. Respect, gentleness, honour and doing things slowly.

Yindyamarra is a Wiradjuri word. It guides how we work with care, with patience, and with deep regard for the people and communities who choose us.

01

Culturally secure practice

Every interaction is grounded in respect, deep listening, and the cultural knowledge our team brings to the table.

02

First Nations Yarning Circle

We help lead a national circle of Aboriginal NDIS providers driving sector-wide reform from community up.

03

Self-determination

Aboriginal participants and families are the experts on their own lives. We coordinate, we don't decide.

04

Specialist complex care

Multi-agency, multi-disciplinary support for participants other services find too hard. Cultural safety makes it possible.

Why it matters

Culture isn't an add-on. It's the practice.

Most NDIS services were not designed with Aboriginal people in mind. Yindyamarra exists to change that from the language we use in plans, to the providers we connect, to the way we sit with families through hard decisions.

Through the First Nations Yarning Circle we share what we learn, advocate for structural change, and build a stronger Aboriginal-led disability workforce.
